Have you ever wondered what the word tailleur means?

The timeless elegance of this ensemble has always aroused great admiration on the part of the public, because it has been able to inspire since its inception not only designers from around the world, but also entire currents of thought.

It is in fact born by a man and is immediately dedicated to the female public, so that it could express its desire for emancipation. For a short time it was also called lady’s suit, but its official name is due to the fact that initially this garment was made only by tailors man, which in French is pronounced precisely “Tailleur”.

Initially this type of clothing did not allow for ample movement: respecting the fashion and characteristics of late nineteenth-century dresses that saw its birth, the outfit included a wide and long skirt and a jacket: heavy fabrics gave the silhouette rigidity typical of that era.

Since 1966 the jacket is finally combined with the trousers: it turns into a sort of smocking worn by a woman. Giorgio Armani then brought the suit to its highest point of expression: thanks to him, this garment is perfectly adapted to the female body, which is greatly enhanced.

The cut of his jackets remain structured. but they become comfortable and elegant to wear thanks to the choice of new materials: a real craze erupts that sees the suit become the symbol of the career woman. Being one of the designers and point of reference for this garment, the choice for my elegant outfit could only fall on Emporio Armani.

The suit I wear includes a jacket paired with cigarette pants, worn with splendid silver Vicenza heels. Silver is the color that manages to illuminate this look dominated by black: in fact, I combined a sandal with the same bright color as Olga Berg.

As you can see, I decided not to wear any shirt, but to make the look seductive by revealing the lace bra under the closed jacket: the proof that this dress can adapt to both work and professional contexts, as well as fun and evening.
