The 9060s represent a new expression of the refined style and innovative design that have made the 99X series the protagonist of some of the most iconic models in New Balance history. The 9060 model reinterprets the familiar elements of the classic 99X models with a visionary sensibility, inspired by the fiercely futuristic and technological aesthetics of the 2000s. The swing bars, taken from the 990s, have been enlarged and used on the entire upper to give a sense of visible movement, while the wavy lines and scaled proportions on the sculpted midsole place an exaggerated emphasis on the ABZORB and SBS platform cushioning notes.
