The characteristic feature of Bossi fabrics is the dyeing of the yarn. This means that the patterns are obtained by weaving dyed yarns, rather than printing on a raw fabric. In this way the colors are more intense, penetrate more deeply and last longer, even after years of washing. Furthermore, the designs are sharper and identical on both sides of the fabric.
Bossi's carded cotton enriches the yarn both technically and aesthetically. Usually the yarn is composed of fibers of different lengths joined together in a random way. Thanks to the combing procedure, the shorter fibers are eliminated and the noble ones are aligned in the same direction. This allows the fabric to be softer, more homogeneous and resistant to every wash.
