Designed by Michael Boucquillon and Donia Maaoui, the Bark collection — from English bark — was inaugurated in 2015 by the eponymous centerpiece. The authors were inspired by their home, Casa Boucquillon: a place of experimentation, meditation and work where they can live in symbiosis with nature. The Bark series fretwork recalls the bark of the trees that surround the house. The result is a highly poetic collection in which every single object shows itself, in form or function, in continuous and harmonious dialogue with nature
